TI has sometimes sells sets of yellow-backed calculators to schools. The yellow backs make it a little easier for the schools to quickly tell which are the school calculators and which are the student calculators.

Kind of a small confusion (and theft) reduction measure.

My question about calculators is why is the keypad in a different order than a phone keypad? Amirite?

I think the dollar will crash irreparably by 2012.... bottom drops out of the dollar. ....Dollars are worthless, 401ks are bust, the markets are valueless...government assumes control over all industry and everything is nationalized by the end of 2012. - gomer_tree

Or the pad you use to dial a number that's not already in your contacts list. You know, the pad where you key in the numbers for the phone.

You're reaching - modern cells still have phone keypads, they just aren't physical buttons. And the fact that they're ordered differently than calculators and computer keypads has always been annoying to me.
