This.

I would try to get them to send you something in the mail. It can't be cheap for them to mail stuff to the US from nigeria. Try something like:

I am very excited to receive the money. I do not want to lose this deal! I am the head of the First Church of St. Palin and there are so many great ways that I could use this money for the church.

In order for me to access the funds and send you the $105 processing fee, I need a signed letter from your company stating that the money I send you will not be spent amorally (e.g. on drugs, prostition, or alcohol). This is standard procedure for our church. We are very old fashioned, so it is required that we have a physical letter that is HAND SIGNED. An email simply will not do. Please send right away so we can complete this deal.
Then if the letter was signed in black ink, you needed it in blue. It can't be accepted if there are grammatical errors or misspellings. The letter doesn't feel blessed. Once they send something keep coming with excuses on why they need to send it again or sell more.

It's nice because you end up playing on the same greed that they were trying to play on.

Visit http://www.419eater.com/

They really string these scammers on, getting them to send photos, paint themselves, record themselves reading books, etc. You might find some good tips.

Maybe you know someone from London here on teh AO? That could give them a call from a pay phone and tell them they need picked up... Then give it a couple days and email the guy back saying you were picked up in a car and then beaten/robbed and dropped in an alley, and that you will be sending the police to hunt them down (or maybe a brother in Special Forces or the CIA if you want to be silly)

I mess with telemarketers every now and then... A while back I got a call from someone (Bank of America, I think) trying to talk me into signing up for a credit card. When I answered the phone she went into a spiel about who she was with and that she would like to talk to me about setting up a credit card account, and I replied with "It's about time! I have been waiting for you guys to call me back for like a week... Like I said in my message, I've already maxed out the last 2 cards you gave me, and I still have stuff I need to buy. Maybe we can get this one set up and then do a balance transfer on one of these older cards so I don't have to wait a week for the new card to get here..."

She hung up
