Pretty pathetic, Nashville.
I hope USA is ready for big crowd in Chicago. Like an away game, though. MEX is used to the big crowds.

Fortunately, I added 90 minutes to the recording. Had 5 minutes to spare.

Yea I was disappointed. They announced attendance at 28k. I think that USA not being officially in this game until a few days ago hurt the attendance. Most people probably didn't even know that they were playing or that there was a game here.

Weather was shitty, and no overhang.

Hoping for snow in Chicago.

Real close offside situation as Ream leaned forward but left his foot behind. Very close, but not discussed too much.

Bradley was a traffic cone in the 2nd half. Midfield fell apart and the subs were useless. Tough 2nd half after a good 1st half. Overall okay but Mexico were better for sure in the 2nd.

Really was a tale of 2 halves.

How was jumping on the back of one player on the ground and then immediately putting hands to the throat of another not an immediate red? Particularly so because the choke was directly in front of the ref.

We exceeded my expectations for the tournament as a whole after seeing our form in the pre-tournament friendlies.

Should have netted at least 1 (and maybe 2) in the 1st half. In the 2nd half we were on our heels the whole time. Looking at the advanced stats, we won the expected goals battle 1.62 to 1.13, so we had the better chances on 10 less shots.

But when your 3 subs are Roldan, Zardes, and Lovitz you can't expect too much. I wonder if Boyd got a knock because I would have thought he would have been a guy to turn to in the 2nd half.

No VAR. If they had it, might have been a red card.

Also, thank you Chicago for coming out to the match.

Or, should I say, gracias.

Seems they didn't get the memo on homophobic yelling during the goal kick. The one saying it's uncouth, I mean.

I don't think he even got a yellow?
