Eh, I'd say he needs to play better than he did against Kohlschreiber to have a shot.

He's one of two top seeds who hasn't yet lost a set. The other is Wawrinka. Wawrinka had to go to 5 tiebreakers already. Federer hasn't had one.

I am a Fed fan. But I don't measure success based on number of sets won and lost against weaker competition. Sure, it tires you out to have to play more sets. But Djok is a super fit machine. You think losing that one set yesterday is going to make him more fatigued as the tournament goes forward? At 34, Fed definitely needs to win quickly to have a shot. Not so with other top men

Really disappointed in the Nadal exit. I have Nole and Serena winning.

Stan hasn't played great yet. His match-up with Anderson could be a tough one. I like KA. Glad he is making a run here. Good quarterfinal match-ups I think.

I would be wary of KA based on his recent match play. The Wawrinka match will be his 10th in 16 days. I like Waw there.

Went this year w grounds passes on Day 2. Was great. Sat court side for Hewitts win and in first row for Tiafoe's match. Watch Isner dominate and a little of Wawrinka and a couple of others. Also watch Djok practice. Much better than going upstairs at Ashe.

Federer is so cool although his attire is terrible. Expect a finals w Novak. Would be great.

Were you happy with how Federer played today?

Yes, he played extremely well today, although let's not kid ourselves - Fed must have been doing the happy dance when he saw that Gasquet beat Berdych. Fed has always been a very favorable matchup against Gasquet. Wawrinka is going to present an extremely tough matchup for Fed in the semis.
