Spoiler:
Thoughts on 11 losing her power? What would have caused that? The parasite being under her skin for a few hours?

Why make that connection to something happening in 1986 when the Three Mile Island incident is far more relevant for 1984?

Season 3 took place in 1985. They were drinking "New Coke" which debuted that year.

You're right. I was thinking of the date that was shown on the first episode setting up the Russian perspective.

+1 on Dustin's analysis of "My Little Pony".

It was sorta on point. However, I don't think that little children being interested in monsters and wizards and unicorns gets to the realm of nerdy.

However, if teenagers are interested in that stuff, then he has a point.

My only problem with the Hop in upside-down theory is that if he could squeeze through that gate at that moment, why wasn't anything squeezing out of the upside-down before the explosion?

Alternate theory is that it's Bob. He didn't die, and the Russians picked him up along with the monster dog.
did the after credits scene feel familiar to anyone else? I feel like they already previewed it or a piece of it

yes, BUT, it was still from a child and he was basically trying to win an argument with her, so logic does go out the window a bit

Maybe. But used her power to remove it. Was that her last action? Cumulative over exertion was my original thought. 3 months of not being able to do a basic action.
