I was on a business trip when this thing went live and this was where I came to see what everyone was saying about 9/11. So I easily remember.

But I had been around before that, no reward for that?

The current plans are to give pins again in October, and then put the program on hiatus for 2 months for retooling. Then in January, start it up again. Unfortunately, pins can only be awarded on anniversaries divisible by five, and only during the actual month of the anniversary. So if you happen to be one of the few people who joined in November or December of 2001, you'll have to wait until 2011 to receive a pin.

I joined on 9/11 as AcademicRefugee - changed my name from there to antieverything, then acctuary.

I signed up Griffin 1 on 09-08-2001, never changed my name, and never bothered to register another ID.
