Default Do you take a pre-workout?

If so, what?

I have been taking an energy shot lately. I guess I like it. I'm hooked now, I suppose. Not sure I always (or ever) need it. It used to help on weekends when I worked out early than I was used to. But now I think I'm used to it.

EC stack. 50mg EPH + 400mg Caffeine + 2g L-Tyrosine.

I train in the early morning as well.

I normally punch a bear in the face and then feed of that bears fear.

I mean, some pussies take eph and turosine and stuff but once you've tried bear fear, there's no going back. I'm hella jacked now.

L-tyrosine? What's that for? have some, but I never knew it had fitness applications. I got it for something else. Though I guess those could translate to workout performance.

And 400 mg of caffeine. Good. I don't feel as bad with my 280.

I do most of the time, and usually just do a scoop or two of C4. I know there are better options out there and I will probably get into it eventually.

Before barbell club I would take a bit of the Jack3d stuff ricky recommended but not everytime. Sometimes some BCAAs as well.

I usually don't take anything because I don't think it works well with an intense metcon.

Nothing else comes close.

L-tyrosine has a bit of an effect on thyroid levels (It can increase T3 levels by its effect on TSH) (It can also be used as a cognitive booster by itself in large enough doses)

As Ephedrine works by increasing the conversion of T4 to T3 (which increases your metabolism), you can get an additive effect. Basically L-tyrosine super charges the stack. Having said that...it does not seem to work on everybody. If it works on you..you should definitely feel the stimulant boost.

The old version Jack3d was pure gold. Loved the stuff. The new one is awful.
