Default Getting a head

When I walk outside (or even sit at the beach) I wear baseball caps. Sun protection and to absorb sweat. But my hats get stained from this.

Are there camping or hiking hats that would serve the purpose and not look silly, without changing color or at least can be washed regularly?

Baseball caps do not provide effective sun protection. They really only provide glare protection.

You can't go wrong with a Tilley. Unless you hate all broad brimmed hats. Then you're SOL for real sun protection.

Thought about trying an Arctic Hat. I see them advertised. Supposed to keep your head cool (like actually chill it). Not sure how they'd do with stains.

I get salt residue on mine. Top of my dark hats turns white eventually (if I wear for something like softball)...until I wash them, but then they're never quite the same.

I can get irritated by sunscreen so I wear a lot of hats in the summer. I like both broad brimmed hats and bucket hats and own multiples of each.

I wear a Tilley. And my kids mock me by singing the Indiana Jones theme.
