Christmas update:
on Christmas eve I did 4 miles walk/jog with my brother. Also did 13 over, 12 under pullups on rings.

Day after Christmas, I was bet that I couldn't do 60 pushups in a minute. Killed it!

Put my pants on, they were too loose!

Had to tighten the belt one notch!

Shoveled snow for 3.5 hours this morning and didn't get winded.

Benched 185 for 4 reps yesterday. Not much, but a personal best.

I went 135-155-175, but then instead of putting on two 5s I took off all the 10s and put on 25s, just because I'd never been able to put those on before.

Nice work erosewater. A lot of breakthroughs are mental...one day you try something you "can't" do and you do it.

If bench is a key part of your workouts, include a 185 set now. Make your old "goal" part of your new "routine". Nice going.

215 clean and jerk today.

I ran 400 miles in 2010! And that was starting at the end of March, with about 4 weeks off for injury. So my goal for 2011 is...600 miles.

400 miles? I can drive that in about 5 and half hours. Nice work! 600 is a great goal and I bet you can do it and then some.

That day, for no particular reason, I decided to go for a little run. So I ran to the end of the road. And when I got there, I thought maybe I'd run to the end of town. And when I got there, I thought maybe I'd just run across Greenbow County. And I figured, since I run this far, maybe I'd just run across the great state of Alabama. And that's what I did. I ran clear across Alabama. For no particular reason I just kept on going. I ran clear to the ocean. And when I got there, I figured, since I'd gone this far, I might as well turn around, just keep on going. When I got to another ocean, I figured, since I'd gone this far, I might as well just turn back, keep right on going.
Great job, annabel lee!

Thanks, Chief! And thanks, Sheba! I can't drive 400 miles in 5.5 hours...I still get freaked out going above 55 mph. Sad.
